The core of the VCO is borrowed from famous Russian synth Polivoks VCO and in exponential converter we use the original matched transistor IC that was used in Polivoks. But there are significant updated schematics to have the most out of your modular setup.
Polivoks VCF is famous for its’ crazy resonance sweeps and deep, bassy sound which makes it ideal for acid basslines.
We believe, this is one of most is one of most authentic sounding famous Russian synth Polivoks VCF emulations available. The original Russian ICs K140UD12 are used in the sound circuit. We did several updates to adapt the VCF for contemporary modular synth demands. Independently buffered inputs, extended Cutoff knob range, eliminated clicks, when switching filter modes, and output stage added to eliminate signal inversion.
The Malekko/Richter Oscillator II is a great-sounding, solid analog Oscillator/LFO with some serious tricks up its sleeve. Fine and Coarse frequency controls are provided. Volt per octave and exponential (with attenuator) CV frequency inputs are provided. An output for each waveform is provided (Sine/Triangle/Square/Saw). A second series of outputs are provided for phase-modulated versions of the Triangle, Square, and Saw waveforms.
Use Fusion Mixer as two independent 3-input mixers (also for stereo signal mixing) or 6-input mixer. Special feature of the Fusion Mixer – great tube overdrive effects when level knobs are set to 3 o’clock and above. When used with drum machines, it even emulates side chain compressors. When used to mix signals from VCOs Fusion Mixer works as wave shaper, especially, if pulse width modulated pulse signals is used in one of inputs.
All Fusion modules by default are configured to work with regular eurorack PSU.
6 audio inputs
Two independent 3-input mixer
Sum of all 6-inputs
Soft tube overdrive
Configurable power supply – standard Eurorack +-12V connection OR Eurorack +-12V plus Erica Synths Tube heater PSU
